Join us at Westminster Baptist Church as we journey through Holy Week, a sacred time of reflection, remembrance, and renewal. From the triumph of Palm Sunday to the sorrow of the cross and the joy of the resurrection, each moment draws us deeper into the heart of the Gospel.

We invite you, your family, and friends to walk with us through these powerful days.

Week of Prayer

Holy Week calls us into deeper communion with Christ through prayer and the Word. As we follow Jesus from the joyful praises of Palm Sunday (Matthew 21:9), to His servant heart at the Last Supper (John 13:14-15), and into the sorrow of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42), we are invited to watch and pray with Him. At the foot of the cross on Good Friday (Isaiah 53:5), we remember the cost of love. And as we await the dawn of Resurrection Sunday, we hold fast to His promise: “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25).

Let prayer be our posture, Scripture our anchor, and Christ our hope.

DAY 1
Less than 0.5% of the population is evangelical Christian in Provo, Utah, where everything revolves around the Mormon church. But missionaries David and Sara Gaskin love Mormons and want them to know the real Jesus.

On Day 1 of the #AnnieArmstrong week of prayer, pray for missionaries David and Sara Gaskin as they introduce Mormons to the real Jesus!
DAY 2
“People were having to choose between clean laundry or keeping the electricity on, and we saw a chance right there to meet a need and share the gospel.” That’s how missionaries Leo and Miosha Robinson ended up opening a low-cost laundromat and Good Church in Flint, Michigan!

On Day 2 of the #AnnieArmstrong week of prayer, pray for the people in Flint who have experienced pain and trauma, that Good Church would be able to meet them with the hope of the gospel.
DAY 3
When you hear the term “unreached people group,” you probably don’t think of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. But missionaries Joshua and Brittany Brown do. It’s one of the many lessons they learned when they planted a church in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, right outside Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

On Day 3 of the #AnnieArmstrong week of prayer, pray for the military families who attend Pillar Church Topsail to take the gospel with them when then go to their next assignment.
DAY 4
The work of evangelism and church planting looks different in a military community where people are highly transient, and husbands and dads are gone for long stretches of time. But that’s how missionary Brittany Brown found her place on mission alongside her husband.

On Day 4 of the #AnnieArmstrong week of prayer, pray for Pillar Church Topsail as they tangibly share the gospel with military families in their community.
DAY 5
Sometimes, the best way to figure out what God is doing is to look back. That’s what Christian and Laura Rowland learned after planting a church in a fast-growing, multi-cultural Vancouver suburb. “When we first came to Langley,” Christian says, “we didn’t recognize how perfectly God shaped us for this work. But now, we look back and see how he used everything from our past and present, and we know this new church was part of his sovereign plan.”

On Day 5 of the #AnnieArmstrong Week of Prayer, pray for continued unity as New Song Community
Church grows.
DAY 6
It may be one of the most unique classrooms in North America. At the Send Relief Ministry Center in Laredo, Texas, just a few miles from the U.S.-Mexico border, Osvaldo and Vanessa Lerma lead volunteers in hands-on refugee ministry. “We introduce them to refugees legally seeking asylum in
the U.S.,” Osvaldo shares. “After these churches have the chance to minister, they return home better equipped to share Christ with the nations arriving in their own communities.”

On Day 6 of the #AnnieArmstrong Week of Prayer, pray for Osvaldo and Vanessa’s endurance since sharing the gospel with refugees in Laredo is a 24/7 ministry.
DAY 7
This blows Tyler Martin’s mind: “Of the 203 cities and towns in Wyoming,” he says, “over 60 don’t have a church of any kind.” Tyler and his wife Ashley planted a church in Bar Nunn, Wyoming, and now they’re getting creative to help plant more churches all over the state. “People in our small towns don’t have a church 15 minutes down the road they can go to,” he says. “So, we’ve got to do whatever it takes to get the gospel to them.”

On Day 7 of the #AnnieArmstrong Week of Prayer, pray for Tyler’s goal to help plant many new
churches in Wyoming.
DAY 8
Trent Fetherston had a reputation in Bar Nunn, Wyoming. “I was known as a pretty wild dude,” he says. “You could name almost any bar in town, and I’ve been kicked out of it.” But one Sunday morning, when he wandered over to the other side of the Hangar Bar and Grill where Tyler and Ashley Martin’s new church was meeting, he heard something he’d never heard before. “I heard the gospel,” he says, “and that changed everything. Now, people know me for a completely different reason.”

On Day 8 of the #AnnieArmstrong Week of Prayer, pray God would raise up more laborers to reach
everyone, everywhere with the gospel!
